Hardware Requirements
Polar
iSMARTtrain supports the following Polar Heart Rate Monitors: CS200, CS200cad, RS200, RS200sd, S410, S510, S520, S610, S625x, S710, S720, S725, S725x, S810, RS300x & FT80.
On a Mac, you need a Polar IR-Serial interface and a USB-Serial converter to use the IR models, and a compatible microphone for the SonicLink models. For the RS300x and the FT80, you need Polar's Flowlink interface.
SRM
iSMARTtrain supports the SRM PowerControl V and the Garmin Edge 705 head units.
On a Mac, to use the SRM Power Computer with a serial cable, you need a USB-Serial converter. To use the USB cable, you need to install the Mac drivers from here.
Ergomo
On a Mac, to use the Ergomo with a serial cable, you need a USB-Serial converter.
PowerTap
On a Mac, you need the PowerTap USB cradle and the drivers from here. These are the same drviers that ship with Cyclops PowerAgent software, so, if you have this installed, you should already have the drivers installed.
Garmin
iSMARTtrain supports the Garmin Forerunner 50, 60, 110, 301, 205, 305, 310xt, 405 and Edge 205, 305, 605 and 705 models.
To download from these models, simply connect the device with the Garmin-supplied USB cable. For the Forerunner 50, 60, 110 & 405/405cx, you need to installed Garmin's ANT Agent software, which handles the data transfer between the watch and your Mac.
